Our users have successfully purchased our in-app products . If they uninstall and reinstall the app and later click on the button to purchase again, Google Play displays the message “You already purchased this item”. How do we know (in Corona code) that items have already been purchased so we can handle this even correctly ? We want the users who already own the product to continue using the app without purchasing again .

You are supposed to call store.restore() to reload existing purchases for non-consumable purchases. Google will call these “purchases” when your call back function is called, but they are actually the previous purchases.
