Android Marshmallow and display.topStatusBarContentHeight

Hello,

My project uses display.topStatusBarContentHeight  property.

I updated my Android device to Android 6.0 version and display.topStatusBarContentHeight value fails about 3 px.

Is there any update on SDK about it?

Thanks!

I’m getting this too on my Nexus 5. It worked fine until I upgraded to 6.0.

Maybe we need to collect a list of Android 6.0 Corona SDK bugs? :frowning:

Hi guys,

As per the usual process, please submit these as a bug report. Engineering absolutely needs this for tracking and prioritization.

Thanks,

Brent

uuisik: Can you submit this and post the bug #?

Brent: You can download our Android app here and see for yourself: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.recent.personal.news

Go to the Hot News tab and scroll down. You will see a light blue line (the color of the app bar menu) a few pixels high toward the bottom of where the status bar should be. Try it on L and it works fine. Try it on M and it does not.

There is no Android 6.X in list of  Platforms affected  on Bug Submission page.

How can i report this bug?

Hi @uuisik,

For now, please just select the “All” box, but put something like “(Android 6.x)” in the “Bug title” field.

Thanks,

Brent

Thanks Brent.

I submitted these as a bug report;

(Case 43266) display.topStatusBarContentHeight value fails with Android 6.x

It’s been 11 days since this thread began – are there any updates to the status of this bug fix, by any chance?

This is still being worked on (I just confirmed). I don’t have a specific ETA but it’s in progress.

Brent

Sorry for the long delay on this. Other Android issues have taken priority.

This issue has been resolved and the fix should be available in build 2745.

Thank you Ajay!

I saw it at 2015.2747
