Quick note to everyone who needs to update soon and wants time for the kinks to get worked out of the newest Solar releases: Google seems like they’re willing to grant extensions to be compliant with the update to SDK 33.
If you go to your inbox in the Dashboard for your apps, click on the compliance message and then click on “View Details” you will be taken to the Policy Status page. At the bottom of the message is a button labeled “Ask for Extension”. One of the choices is something along the lines of, “Waiting for SDK update from SDK provider.”
I got extensions until November 1 on all my apps- approved immediately.
