Android timer pauses when the screen is turned off

Hello,

I was just wondering if it is possible to create a stopwatch-like timer that doesn’t pause when the screen is off on an android device?

I have tried Beebes games class timers and Peach’s timer but neither of them seem to work…

Also, as a kind of solution, is it possible to display the system timer, using system.getTimer(), as text so that it appears on the screen and not just the module? [import]uid: 67534 topic_id: 22692 reply_id: 90525[/import]
