Android Version Code Update... what happens to In-App Purchase?

I wonder if the In-App Purchase will work while updating an Android app with a new version with new version number?

Right now I guess it’s working like this:

All In-App stuff is working fine in the current version.

I now have to update the version and this new one gets a new version number.

I upload this version.

I install it on my device to test it and to test the In-App purchases.

(This is where I noticed they aren’t working for this version anymore because this seems not the version Google has as a reference)

I know guess it’s just a matter of time, until the new uploaded version is used by Google until things will work again.

But I’m not sure and that’s why I want to ask if you maybe have more experience with this?

Hey, Daniela @d.mach, it should work fine once your new version is published.  If you don’t have new IAP items and you have not changed your IAP code, you don’t need to worry.

If you’ve changed the IAP code and want to test it, then you might want to consider building the new version with the old version number that is already released and test it that way.

Hey, Daniela @d.mach, it should work fine once your new version is published.  If you don’t have new IAP items and you have not changed your IAP code, you don’t need to worry.
