How to play animation , am I need to write some code ?
Yes you need to use Sprite Sheets.

If you have imported the spritesheets into Level Director and setup the animation correctly then in theory you do not need to write any code.
Providing the ‘Default’ and ‘Play’ flags are set (see below), LD will automatically play that animation sequence when you load the level.
