Annoyingly long build times

Hi,

The build times are very long at the moment and highly annoying if youre in the process of testing minor changes on a handset. I’ve noticed them increasing lately which seems to be in line with the frontpage counter rising to 17 million (major hat tip for that by the way!).

My personal guess is the build-queue is just getting hammered at the moment, thus causing longer build times. However, are (paying) subscribers already being prioritized in the queue? Currently it takes long enough for Windows 7 to regularly think the program has locked up.

Not so much a feature request as it is a big nuisance I would rather not have as a subscriber. Looking forward to your input.

thanks but the 17mill is users of customers apps not users logged into our servers.

trial users are not optimized.

what version of corona sdk are you using?

the latest builds times have reduced tremendously and some of our users have twittered the decrease in build times.

Thanks for the quick reply. That indeed makes more sense considering the number is so high… i just looked at the big number and didn’t read :wink: Still, in the words of Borat; “Great succes!”

I am currently using build 505 as I was having problems with one of the later nightly builds. Can’t recall which one as I couldn’t be fussed with figuring out what wasn’t working with it.

I’ll give the later builds a shot then and see what that does.
