Any alternative to mailto: url to send email?

Is there any way to attach a file or contents of a variable to an email message?

I.e. an alternative to mailto:someboby@some.com?subject=subject&body=body

I’m trying to compile/collect a wish list in the app and then email the wish list.

Being able to do it as an attachment or via a variable re-direct would seem a bit cleaner/nicer.
