Any examples of 3D road scrolling ?

Hi,

I am trying to work out the best way to animate a moving road.

I have searched the forums for examples but as soon as you put “Road” in a search, there are too many results with “RoadMap”.

I have found loads of scrolling background examples but they are nearly always sideways scrolling.

What I want is a road scrolling towards you, as if you are sitting behind the car (hard to explain but think most console racing games).

Any ideas on the best way to approach this would be appreciated.
