Any good place for animation frames of people?

Hi,

I want to make a game with a kid throwing a ball. I would like for him to move with his arm when doing this. I am terrible with graphics. Does anyone know of a good site that might have or even sell images like this? O looked in google images and only saw single images rather than frames of the whole motion.

Thanks!

Warren

Mixamo.com is your friend.

  1. Go to turbosquid.com (or other 3D model site) and find a suitable character. $20-50 buys a lot good quality stuff.
  2. Go to mixamo.com and upload your character.
  3. Select your animation, preview and customize. With point packs $10-20 buys most single animations.
  4. Export as Collada and import in Blender
  5. Re-apply textures and render in desired resolution

They charge per-character, so it works best if you only have one character that you need. X characters x Y animations adds up… It’s also good for making small adjustments (e.g. make “weapon lowered”-stance from “weapon aim”-stance) in Blender without animating skills.

Also I should point out you need to be careful about what model types can be uploaded to Mixamo. [import]uid: 46570 topic_id: 35980 reply_id: 143043[/import]

Thanks! I like Spine except I need to add my own character in there. I wish they had some available to buy or add. I’ll see if I can cut a character and add it in.
