any public interest in iPhone/iPad simulator for Windows/Linux/MacOSX?

Hello!

I just got a “very first light” from my (still very, very small) iPhone “Simulator” for Corona applications running under Windows XP (see http://www.andreas-rozek.de/iPhone/Simulator/SimulatorXP.png)

The underlying development ideas are:

  • get a Corona simulator for Windows and Linux as well
  • become able to develop desktop applications using Lua and the Corona API, again for all major OSes (Windows/Linux/MacOSX)

On the other hand, my little tool will never(!)

  • allow you to build iPhone/iPad applications on desktops running Windows or Linux

You will always need the Corona SDK for that purpose!

In case of public interest, I could probably publish a preview by the weekend…

Anybody interested?

Kind regards,

Hi Andreas,

Will this simulator be capable of running standard Corona code written on Mac for iphone?
Or will it be somewhat different in how code must be written.

If I could use it to easily show other team members my project in the sim on PC, this could indeed be useful.
