Any way to track where the install came from?

Hello,

I am about to release a game in the app store and google play. I have setup a deal for someone to market the game through there site. Is there any way to determine how many referrals I get from that site? Is that something outside of Corona such as a referral service?

Thanks,

Warren

You can make a in game survey?

I believe iTunes Connect now shows you where the referral came from.

As was mentioned here - link - the ability to track installs is vital if we want to expand our marketing and determine the success of paid campaigns.

Is Corona planning on adding any plugins to support this, like AppsFlyer?

Or updating the existing Flurry or Game Analytics plugins to enable this feature?

We are working on other analytcis tools. We also have Facebook’s publisheInstall API. I don’t think you have to implement Facebook to use it. It’s more of a marketing tool. Well You have to include the library and probably set the app up in their developer dashboard, but you don’t have to publish information to timelines, get friend lists or any of the social networking side.

I’m not sure what plugins we have in the queue and what order they will be available in or when, but having that information is important to success.
