Anyone Here Using Corona in Wine?

Hi all! I’m running elementaryOS in dual boot with Windows on my laptop, and I’m trying to avoid running Windows more than I absolutely have to due to problems with my laptop’s hardware and Windows’ drivers for it. I’m trying to get Corona running in Wine so that I can develop on the Linux side of my laptop, but I can’t seem to get it working. I ran the MSI with wine msiexec, and now I have “Corona Output Viewer” in my applications, but starting it up results in an empty output viewer window. Frankly, I’ve never used Wine before and I don’t know how to. Has anyone here successfully gotten Corona working on Linux in Wine? Is there any way I can get step-by-step instructions to it?

Anyone? Is this even possible?

I know several of our customers have gotten the Corona simulator to run under Wine. However don’t now what’s involved. Have you searched the forums for “Wine”?

I’ve searched for it and all I can find is people saying it’s possible. I tried installing an older version of Corona in Wine and it still fails. I’d love it if anyone who’s done it before could give me some pointers.

  – I do not have an answer for you … yet.    I too have linux/wine.  I am just going to give it a try and see.

I have Xenial Ubuntu.  Just installed it and it crashed with:  winedbg: Internal crash at 0x7ecfeeb5
