Anyone using iOS 6 beta?

Beta 4 just got released and I’m itching more than ever to install it on my iPhone 4S or iPad 3.

For those who are currently using the iOS 6 beta (any version), can you still develop and test your apps using the current version of Corona SDK and Xcode, or do you have issues or need a beta version of Xcode (and will Corona build properly with the beta of Xcode)?

Also, more importantly, is anyone running into showstopping bugs or issues with the betas? Any incompatibilities with current Corona or non-Corona-based games and apps? [import]uid: 6084 topic_id: 29531 reply_id: 329531[/import]

We can’t guarantee everything will work, but we have some machines with it installed here and we know there are some people testing with iOS 6 beta and things are generally ok. There are risks to updating, but it is a good idea for you developers to test your own apps against beta versions of iOS to avoid serious Apple regression bugs like we saw in iOS 5. We need you guys to report these bugs to Apple quickly so they get fixed before Apple ships, otherwise we are stuck with them as long as we have to support that OS version.

I’m currently running Beta 4 on my iPhone 4 and for the most part it seems to be working perfectly well with everything. I’ve not encountered any apps that will not work with it. The only problem I had with it was the day before yesterday when for some reason it died completely as though it was turned off. Tried everything I could think of to get it back and in the end I left it plugged in while I had to pop to the shop. When I got back it was back on and workong fine. Been okay since then *shrugs*
