I was just wondering if there anything that needs / can be done when a game is exited to release everything from memory. The reason I ask is because I noticed when running my game on my iphone when I exit the game (via the home button) and then load the game back up later instead of showing my Default.png file while the app is loading it shows the last frame of the game when I exited it last.
When I load the game for the very first time after transferring it to my iphone I see the Default.png file just fine, but every time after that (unless I restart the phone) it will show the last frame of my game for a second or so while the game loads up.
I have not seen this happen on any other game I’ve played so just wondering what I can do to get this to not do that. I haven’t been able to find anything on the forums so hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me.
