API doc, please update

It’s not a feature request per se but please pretty please with a cherry on top, update the api docs. I don’t know when was the last time it’s updated but since I kinda new to Corona and not like other developers who have followed since the early days, I’m having a hard time trying to find out what’s already been there and what hasn’t.
For ex. today i have to search for quite a while to see what kind of blendMode does the api provide. The blendMode property is not even listed yet on the api doc :(?

That little search textbox above really not helping with its crappy result, had to google search on my own to find out. So please Ansca… update the docs

i totally agree to @yuanyar , our company is bringing out a game on both ios and android together and we are having a real hard time in integrating game center for the ios. hope someone can point me to a place where we can get some info on integration of game center. +1

I find out about most of the latest features through the notes in the daily builds, corona blog posts, and messages here in the forums. [import]uid: 49447 topic_id: 17345 reply_id: 66322[/import]

I also have to read the forums and blogs to find good API information for the new features. Daily Build notes let us know of new features but we still don’t have API information on how to use them… [import]uid: 67604 topic_id: 17345 reply_id: 66341[/import]

it shouldn’t be too hard to setup a community wiki, right guys? [import]uid: 76697 topic_id: 17345 reply_id: 66348[/import]

I’ve beefed about this before. It’s nearly impossible for someone new to sift through the docs, threads, videos, and blog posts to get the right answer.

For Pete’s sake just delete the antiquated YouTube videos that refer to old versions of Corona that are no longer available! It took me a week to figure that the “Game Edition” was no longer offered.

The biggest feature upgrade you could give us Ansca, is clean docs and retooled Ansca made templates updated to match changes in API and libraries.

You guys are great, but seriously need to hygiene your self-support tools. Get rid of the SPAM posts in the Shared code area. There are a couple of guys with product descriptions and point to a commercial website.

Honestly,

For whom is “using” the Corona Docs, APIs, Resources, Code Share, etc, everyday like me, doing this “clean” would be much better and by the way, keep the Corona Resources updated as well.

Thank you Corona Team.
