api key for newMapView

looking at the choices that google gives for selecting/generating an api key, is there a specific option (ie: static map, embeded, etc) that the newMapVIew needs?    I open a map by lat/lon, drop pins and center the map.  Is this considered a dynamic map or static map.

I believe you need a Javascript API Key.

I got that.  When you go there, it offers a series of key types.  I’m trying to figure which to get.  ie: static map, dynamic map, mobile native dynamic , mobile native static, etc)

what is the map generated by native.newMapView categorized as.

After reading some descriptions, I would go with dynamic.
