APK File Not returned by Corona Labs Server!

Using 2013.1094 on Windows

So I build my app as usual and click view in Explorer, but there is nothing there.

I have tried this now with three apps, two of which are already on google play and were building fine.

Just updated to latest daily build 2013.1095.  Still no APK sent back from Corona servers.

Can someone please do a quick Android build using their PC to see if it’s a Corona server issue please.

Also tried with 2 of the sample apps and no APK file is being sent back from Corona servers.  Please can someone confirm this,  as it’s urgent!!

Many thanks.

The APK is definitely being built by the server as it appears on my Dashboard>Analytics, but still not sending it back to me.

I know I have asked this previously if someone could do a quick test on even a sample app.  All I need someone to do is using a PC, build a sample app and see if you get the APK file back.

It is extremely urgent that I at least get an answer to this, as I’m under very strict deadlines.

Again many thanks.

Experiencing the same problem. What a waste of time.

Using 2013.1089 seems to work

Same here. Using Mac OS X and cannot get .apk to be created using latest daily build. I get the following in my console:

[exec] Result: 1

[exec] Result: 1

Going back to build 1089 which works.

About a week ago, with Mac OS X and daily build 1094, I was able to generate APK file.  That said, I had  a slight issue with plugin, which resolved itself somehow.  I think it was rebooting the Mac that fixed it for me.  I posted about it here:

http://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/34226-resolved-cannot-build-android-version/

I don’t use Windows, so I don’t know if it’s an issue with the Windows version.  I also haven’t generated APK today, so I don’t know if it’s a Corona build system specific issue (but if it is, it’s probably an issue specific to the new build system that can handle plugins…)

Naomi

Thanks Naomi,

I am not using any plugins, and also tried shutting down PC.

With other people having the same issue I’m pretty certain it’s a Corona server issue.

I’ll check with the team to see if anything is going on with the build servers

I just did a build with 1093 and it worked fine.

Definitely does not work for me.  Rob, do you know what:

[exec] Result: 1

[exec] Result: 1

means?

I’m not familiar with that message.  We looked at the reports this morning and couldn’t repro it.  We are looking at it again now.  I’m downloading 1094 now to give that a try.

Rob, I just tried again with 1095 and still had the same problem.

Build id was bc70f79d7936cfa66c0850e89ebc7979

Alex

My build with 1094 completed.  It seemed a bit slow, but then I’m on unreliable hotel internet at the moment.

Lets wait and see what the engineers find.  Is anyone having problems with iOS builds or Amazon/Nook?

Yep Same here.  Using Windows XP.

Failed earlier on 1094 and still the same on 1095.

Just tried again with this build id

Using custom Build Id bc70f79d7936cfa66c0850e89ebc7979
     [exec] Result: 1
     [exec] Result: 1

There is your Problem!!!

Same build ID’s for different users and apps!!!

The engineers would like someone to post a complete log of their build who’s having this problem.

Rob, how do I go about getting the build log on windows?

Did you notice my previous post where not only all my different apps are using the same build ID but also it’s the same as @poon.

That’s a red herring.  The build ID is something we use internal and you all should be doing the same.

On windows, doesn’t Corona SDK automatically start up a console/terminal window that has your log output?

Oh ok Rob though I’m positive that previously the build ID would only ever be the same should I be updating my app.  It has never been the same for different apps.  That’s why I mentioned it as @poon had the same build ID as me.

Just as a note the same thing is happening for Amazon, Nook, Samsung and Google Play

As posted earlier here is the log output from the terminal window on build completion:

Using custom Build Id bc70f79d7936cfa66c0850e89ebc7979
     [exec] Result: 1
     [exec] Result: 1

That’s the whole log?
