I’m seeing the exact same behavior on an iPhone 4 running iOS 6.1.3 (10B329). It runs perfectly on other devices and even another iPhone 4 running a more up-to-date OS.
I have in the past been able to verify that an up-to-date os does not help the situation. I am sure that there is lots of this in the field … just most people do not receive reports from unhappy users.
I just did a check on my wife’s iPhone 4. She is running 6.1.3 (10B329) and I looked to see if there are updates and it said she’s up to date. It’s also the OS running on my iPad 4. So this is the latest iOS 6. What version are you seeing that is later?
i may be able to get this phone back in my hands will know in a week or so
Don’t think it is the version of the iOS. The one i have been able to interact with the user on has the latest iOS.
If I had saw this two months ago I had a 4s with bad wifi I would have donated to corona but I no longer have it and never used it for app testing. Has anyone verified if it’s all same carrier or all 4s with bad wifi
@shaharzrihen - Sorry, I don’t have easy access to the device in question. It belongs to a friend. I didn’t notice any issues with the wifi but I can’t be sure. I will make a point to check that next time I have access to her phone.
So i pushed out a new version of our app turning off the corona analytics and the person reporting the problem says that all is well now.
So Corona … this is clearly a bug in your code affecting all deployments of corona and anyone with issues involving their wifi on apple devices.
Please take a look at your code
mslack - are you saying that the *only* thing that changed in the new version of your app is that you turned off the analytics?
yes
