App Info Fields?

Do we have any way to set additional info about our apps?

For instance, when I look at other apps in iTunes they have things like Artist, Album Artist, Album, etc. I know those don’t match up perfectly, but I assume they are info.plist settings?

Anyone have any experience with this?

I’m just trying to get all my ducks in a row for the submission.

So I see a bunch of folks read this, but no replies.

Is the population of these fields something that happens when you submit through the App Store?

It just looks odd right now when I look at info on my app through itunes (right click it, Get Info) and those fields are empty when other apps have that info populated.

Any help here is appreciated.

Surely one of you folks who have successfully gotten your app into the app store can take 2 minutes and comment on this thread?

It seems a simple enough question… does one have to specify this info somewhere within the corona files or does it automatically get set when the app is submitted to the store?

Sorry Scott,

can’t help you here. HAve no app published so far. It seems that you have to wait till someone from ANSCA has time enough to reply to your topic.

Scott – if you haven’t seen the process yet, basically all the app information in iTunes is set by filling out a multipage web form during upload to the iTunes developer portal. There aren’t any fields for Artist or Album, since those only apply to music, but that’s where you pick your category (and subcategories, for games), set languages, etc.

Note that it also lets you set the seller name to anything you like, even if you registered with Apple as an individual rather than a corporation. [import]uid: 3007 topic_id: 1017 reply_id: 3099[/import]

Yup, we got approved! Still a little wary of declaring ourselves under the Corona umbrella, but we might be coming in out of the rain after the latest rendition of the ToS.

Love Corona. I come home from work and start programming some more. hehe.
