App not downloadable in iOS

Just wondering if any other Corona developers have ever experienced this?

Your app is in the store, but when a user tries to download it (or update it) from the App Store app on a device, it just won’t download.

I pushed an update (built with daily build 2076) on Sunday morning.  I was able to download it on Sunday afternoon.  Since then, I cannot download it.  If I remove the app from my device, and then go to the App Store and click the cloud download link for the app, it changes to the circle with the Stop button like it is going to download, then just goes back to the cloud download link.

If a user who has never downloaded the app before goes to download it, they click the FREE button and it changes to INSTALL.  They click the INSTALL button, it changes to the circle with the Stop button like it is going to download, then just goes back to the INSTALL button.

For those who have an older version of the app on their device, it shows up on their Updates list, but won’t update.  If they manually try, it won’t start.

I tried with other apps and they download fine.  So it is not an account or connection problem.

I have contacted Apple and am waiting on hearing back from them.  But it has been 2 days.  Just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this.

Or is there anything that I could have coded that would cause this?  I don’t think so, but just interested to hear if anyone else had this happen to them.

Tether your device to your Mac and look in Xcode’s Orgainzer and see if there are any messages that happen when you try to install it.

Hadn’t thought to try that, Rob.

I just tried my iPhone 5, which has had the app installed, but does not currently.  I launch the App Store, find the apps, then cleared the Xcode Organizer cache.  I clicked the cloud download link and this is what I get:

At that point, the icon is back to the cloud download link again.

I don’t see anything there that looks like a Corona issue.  Perhaps a search on Google, Stack Overflow or the Apple developer forums might find you the answer.

Rob

My searches did not turn up anything seemingly related, Rob.  So I figured I would ask.

I did call Apple Developer Program Support since I had not heard back in a couple of days.  They confirmed they can reproduce it and it has been prioritized as high as it can go.

Something tells me that if I knew Tim Cook personally, I could get it prioritized higher.

I also had a similar kind of problem. One of my frined use to work with Mobile App Development Agency get this downloaded with me. He simply replaced the app and downloaded it again and did some changes. Now its working fine for me.
