App rejected because of supposedly missing 'restore' feature but it is there. What to do?

Hi! My app just got rejected with the following statement

Missing restore mechanism

We found that your app offers In-App Purchase(s) that can be restored but does not include a “Restore Purchases" feature to allow users to restore the previously purchased In-App Purchase(s), as specified in the “Restoring Purchase Products” section of the In-App Purchase Programming Guide

“Users restore transactions to maintain access to content they’ve already purchased. For example, when they upgrade to a new phone, they don’t lose all of the items they purchased on the old phone. Include some mechanism in your app to let the user restore their purchases, such as a Restore Purchases button.”

To restore previously purchased In-App Purchase products, it would be appropriate to provide a “Restore” button and initiate the restore process when the “Restore” button is tapped by the user.

But restore functionality IS there! It is in “parent zone” (section intended for parents) section and is not visible in main screen. I replied to Apple that this feature is present and how to get it but didn’t hear back yet.

I’ve got two questions regarding such case

  1. Does Apple review team actually read what I write in Resolution Center?

  2. Should I wait for Apple to re-review my app based on my feedback in Resolution Center or should I just upload new build and include some note where to find restore feature?

thanks!

Submit an appeal with screenshot of the restore page. They will reply usually with in 1 ~ 2 business days.

If they reject your appeal, I think you need to add a button where it says on the button “Restore Purchase” I had this same rejection from Apple. I solved this problem by adding a button that says “Restore Purchase”

Yes, they read the appeals.
