App Removed - Violation of Personal and Sensitive Information policy - Appodeal

So two of my apps got removed for the following reason:

Issue: Violation of Personal and Sensitive Information policy

We’ve identified that your app is using the Appodeal SDK or library, which facilitates the transmission of installed packages information without meeting the prominent disclosure guidelines. Make sure to also post a privacy policy in both the designated field in the Play Developer Console and from within the Play distributed app itself.

If necessary, you can consult your SDK provider(s) for further information, or please upgrade Appodeal SDK version to 2.5.1 or higher.

I have a privacy policy “in the designated field in the Play Developer Console” but not “from within the Play distributed app itself.”.

I have another app with Appodeal (and does not have a privacy policy within the app but only on the play store listing) but that has not removed.

Does this mean I just have to re-build my app with the new Appodeal SDK version updated to fix this and add a privacy policy within the app?

Does anybody else have this issue?

Ive made new privacy policies for my apps so I’ll see what happens next

Your privacy policy does not make it clear that you are collecting what apps are installed on the device. Just update Appodeal to the latest version.

How can I update Appodeal to the latest version?

Update: Appodeal says to update to the latest corona version to update appodeal.

Which version of corona would be the best to update to?

Update to the beta version of the plugin. The beta works on all recent version of corona including the last 32 bit version.
