… Do we have an app store wait thread here? Where we can share our wait times for review/approval/etc? If not, this is it!
At the moment, I’ve got 2 updates waiting for review… one since Feb 7th … one since Feb 9th.
(Both updates include the addition of in-app purchases and I’m wondering if anyone else has experience with those updates taking longer?)
When I started back into app devel in January, the first new app and updates were within days (updates within 24 hours). Now we’re to a snail’s pace… (actually, Apple should be jealous of a snail at this point.)
Anyone else care to share their current wait times?

*chuckle* I think they were leading me on with those quick wait times. I developed briefly in 2009 and the wait times were super long and there was no info about the process “back then”.

Ok, so now it’s a month after the last post in this thread and I’m wondering what the experiences are now? I submitted a new app on 19/3 - guess I’ll be waiting until at least 26/3?
Also, the review period you guys were talking about; are those working days (as in, only counting mon-fri - making a 7 day review 9 actual days) or full 7 day week?
I put a release date of April 10 on my game because I wasn’t sure how long it would take to finish it – I was assuming that I could change the release date after it was approved.
Can anyone tell me if my assumption is correct, or am I doomed to wait even after it’s been approved by Apple?

Yes, you can. It’s in ‘Manage you Applications > [app] > Rights and Pricing’
Just be sure you set it correctly as I found that the app was searchable 2 days prior to appearing in the ‘Release Date’ list of the category, meaning that it appeared in that list very low down from the get go. Very annoying - I was hoping it would be at position 1 for a while, simply because it was the newest!
