App trailer (Movie Editor)

Hello,

Does anyone know of a movie editor or some way to produce an app trailer?

I currently have a mac. So I would need something that runs on mac. I do have iMovie, but I don’t believe it has many effects and lacks a sufficient amount of utilities.

Does anyone have in experience concerning this topic?

* Preferably free.

I made my game trailer with iMovie and the Quicktime tool’s “new screen recording” feature:
