Apple recently announced a new Games app, and as part of that “Challenges” will be added to Game Center:
Generally Apple look upon it favourably if you support one of their new features, which can be important when trying to get an app promoted. So we’d like to add Challenges if we can.
Looking at the docs, I can’t see that anything needs to change in the plugin to support this. It looks like it’s inherently tied to leaderboards, so as long as you have leaderboards you can automatically use them for Challenges:
