Hey, I read this article: http://techcrunch.com/2014/06/09/apple-begins-rejecting-apps-that-offer-rewards-for-video-views-social-sharing/
But Apple really say:
2.25: Apps that display Apps other than your own for purchase or promotion in a manner similar to or confusing with the App Store will be rejected, unless designed for a specific approved need (e.g. health management, aviation, accessibility, etc.) or to provide significant added value for a targeted group of customers.
3.10: Developers who attempt to manipulate or cheat the user reviews or chart ranking in the App Store with fake or paid reviews, or any other inappropriate methods will be removed from the iOS Developer Program.
2.25 --> Mean that you can’t put “The battle game” and be a game of cars…
3.10 --> I think that is put for example fake reviews or manipulate chart ranking but put for example this can be “Illegal”:
1-Share score on Facebook --> legal right?
2-Send invitation to friends --> legal right?
3-Send invitation to friends and get points per friend invited --> In this I don’t know if is illegal or not
4-Send lives or other object. --> legal right?
I think that article the journalist out of context, exemplified a game that actually encourages the user, what do you think of this? You think that you are taken out of context?
