My App has been rejected on iPad as when using media.show to select a photo from the SavedPhotos Album. This is because the window that appears is not full screen and so is classed as a detached pop over and that it doesn’t confirm to the standards documention… the QA Manager at Apple has guided me to…
“To learn more about defining a popover in your code, see “Popovers” in View Controller Programming Guide foriOS and UIPopoverController Class Reference .” A popover is a self-contained view that hovers above the contents of a screen. It always displays an arrow that indicates the point from which it emerged.
The App passes on iphone as the window is fullscreen… my previous App passed OK and I’m sure there must be 100s of other Corona Apps doing the same, is the QA Manager wrong or have the standards been tightened up?
What can I do? are Corona Labs able to change the code to allow fullscreen pop-ups on the iPad?
Biggest issue for me is that it is paid project for a big media client promoting a current TV show, time is of the essence!
