Will Corona support the upcoming Apple Watch or are there plans to support it?
What about new platforms in general? What will 2015 bring for us Corona devs?
Best,
Daniela

FYI there have been other threads before on the Apple Watch, including one I started in November, but without an answer:
http://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/52767-apple-get-your-iphone-app-ready-for-apple-watch/
http://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/50961-any-plans-to-develop-corona-to-build-for-iwatch-platform/
Personally I’d rather have Corona do a better job of fixing bugs and supporting basic features (like using iOS’ share panel) on the platforms they already *do* support rather than adding new platforms.
On the topic of adding new platforms, it now looks like Corona’s 2013 bet on Windows Phone was a suboptimal one; Windows Phone has declined from 3.3% 2013 market share to 2.6% as of last month, according to IDC figures. Microsoft Office is now available for iOS and I believe for Android soon, providing less reason to switch. A Jackdaw Research report from last month (not a partisan source) concluded that Windows Phone is unlikely to rebound. And there’s no attractive flagship device.
On the other hand, this is hindsight, and I would probably have made the same bet as Walter and his team in 2013. And Windows Phone was a more obvious choice to support than Apple Watch vs. Android Wear, which as far as I can tell take significantly different approaches that are not necessarily conducive to cross-platform support.

To ANYONE developing for Apple Watch,
We really need a super-simple, Apple Watch, Corona Enterprise sample app and tutorial to be added to: https://coronalabs.com/resources/tutorials/coronacards-enterprise/
Can anyone provide any sample code, tutorial or other assistance in using Corona to develop an Apple Watch App?
hi corona team,
that would be really great a ready to start setup to create a apple watch app.
via corona cards or any other option.
greets
chris
Rob or someone from Corona, can you please respond to my comments?

i agree +1
This thread was started in January with no response from Corona staff; after over a third of a year has elapsed it’s reasonable to expect some guidance.
Apple Watch and Android Wear are likely going to be increasingly important to developers, and Corona has remained silent about their plans (and suggestions of best practices), as far as I know.  Obviously Rob and other folks have read these posts, and it’s odd that they haven’t said anything.
Rob, any word yet about Apple Watch? Or is the issue that the Corona Team is so busy that it doesn’t have the manpower bandwidth to support another platform at the moment? Any communication would be appreciated.
We are working on OS-X and Windows x86 apps at the moment and that has our engineering resources tied up.
