Application loader not appearing

Hey there

Sry if this has been posted anywhere already, i couldnt seem to find it.

Ive been testing an app for a while, and i started getting the famous 19014 (saying that Icon.png is(0x0) )error in the application loader, so i found a workaround in the forum and it worked.

here it is:
http://developer.anscamobile.com/forum/2012/02/02/icon-dimensions-dont-meet-size-requirements

In fact it worked so well, that when i build for device my application loader is not even showing anymore after downloading the latest build of corona (just did). Weather it has something to do with the newest build i dont know, but maybe some of you have incountered this before.

Thank you in advance

So it doesn’t pop up from the Corona prompt but you can still open it normally, is that right? If you can clarify for me will look into it.

Thanks,

I can open i manually, but theres no respons to it. I have even tried to fill the build.settings file with nothing but errors, but corona still likes it and says its ready for app store upload, [import]uid: 55530 topic_id: 23027 reply_id: 92145[/import]

I got the application loader to work again by changing some settings. But still corona will not point out any errors upon build, even if they are clearly there.

Could you file a bug report with project showing this, please? It sounds like something we should take a look at. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 23027 reply_id: 92322[/import]

This is covered in this thread:

Short answer is Apple broke their own tools. You need the latest Application Loader from iTunes Connect or the latest Xcode (4.3.x).

Okay i just tried installing the 4.3.1 xCode for Lion, but now another problem emurges. Corona cant find the iOS SDK and therefore it cant build. I was looking at the thread that you are refering to, and is seams that the conclusion to that thread is NOT to download the latest version of xCode, cause it wont work with corona build process?

Incorrect. It’s fixed in the daily builds. When we get enough feedback, we will backport it to 704. [import]uid: 7563 topic_id: 23027 reply_id: 92460[/import]

Just erased any trace of both corona and xcode, and reinstalled the latest version of both while making sure that xcode was installed under the developer folder. Now everything is working flawlessly!

Apologies, I think I added to confusion here - I misunderstood the issue we had with application loader in 4.3. Thanks Eric  [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 23027 reply_id: 92506[/import]
