application needs to be reauthorized?

I had Corona on my computer installed a while back and now I re-installed latest version but it would not run.

It gives me message “this application needs to be reauthorized…” then it tries to connect to server and finally it fails and “Could not deauthorize application” pops up…???

What to do?

Thx

You have been deauthed.

Thank you for responding so fast. I have try to start corona but it did same thing as earlier, I restarted my computer just in case and try to start again but it continue not connecting to server and quitting.

Hello,

So just to confirm, at this point, you can’t even access the Corona Simulator? It won’t let you log in at all?

What OS and version are you using? Which version of Corona SDK are you (trying) to run?

Regards,

Brent

Corona would not go pass trying to connect to a server, and then after it’s not been able to connect it quits.
So yeah, it doesn’t let me login.
I am using Win7 Home Premium, and Corona I am using is the one I got it from your website last night
Thx for responding on Sat

I did get it running on my mac but I still want to have it on PC since I am building an android app

Hi @digitalmonkeyschool,

So the Mac is now working, yes? I also see two PCs that were registered with the account. Do you have access to both of them, or just one? Could you try uninstalling the Corona Simulator entirely, and ensuring that there are no “cookies” or settings info inside “AppData” or similar? Then restart, re-install Corona, and see if you can log in. If you can’t, let me know and I’ll investigate further.

EDIT: just FYI, you can also develop/build for Android using Corona on Mac, if it’s easier for you to just develop on the one computer instead of two.

Thanks,

Brent

Yes, corona works on Mac fine. I clean out the PCs of corona files and re install corona on my PC laptop again, but it’s not working still. Thoughts?

Hello again,

So, you downloaded a fresh copy of Corona Build #1076 (the most recent public build), and it won’t grant you access? I wonder, is there some kind of firewall or anti-virus network blocking on the PC that might be preventing the registration?

Brent

PC doesn’t have anything beyond Windows Firewall, can you do remote access to take a look at it?

Thx

Are you guys giving up on me?

Hi @digitalmonkeyschool,

Sorry for the delay… no, I’m not giving up, but this issue is going to require some deeper investigation on Monday. I can’t gain access remotely at this time. If you want to de-activate the Firewall for a moment and try the process once more, please do, otherwise I’ll have to investigate on Monday.

Thanks,

Brent Sorrentino

Kay, thx will give it a shoot
