Application not Installed - Kobo Vox - Arm Cortex A8 - Java 6

I’ve been attempting to install various example apps on the new Kobo Vox to no avail. This is my first Android device.

Edit: Just to note, I’m using .591. (I forgot that part  )

It’s in debug mode with 3rd party app installation enabled. Connected via USB.

I’ve downgraded Java from 7 to 6 and rebooted as noted in other posts.

I’m using the default android debug key during builds.

The device is running 2.3, and the processor is an Arm Cortex A8 http://www.arm.com/products/processors/cortex-a/cortex-a8.php

When I try to install I see the progress bar then the typically “helpful” ‘Application not installed.’ dialog.

Has anyone had any experience with the Vox yet? I’m at a loss as to where to go next, as there is little documentation related to it due to the age.

Still no luck :frowning:

PolyLines, Chains, I’ve made APKs of several of them but haven’t managed to successfully install them on the Vox.

Sigh. [import]uid: 99124 topic_id: 18580 reply_id: 71612[/import]

WOOHOO!!!

The new 703 build worked flawlessly with the Vox! Built and installed the chains demo in seconds

Happy dance!

Now I can play around for a bit. Thanks  [import]uid: 99124 topic_id: 18580 reply_id: 72550[/import]
