Application resumes

Hello, I am building with Version 2012.737 (2012.12.8) and running on Ipad 1.

When I quit the application on the Ipad, and gets back to it, it does not start over.
It seems that the application has been suspended and resumes when I launch it again. I was expecting to get the splash screen and the main menu. But it is not the case.

I do not handle suspend/resume events in my app.
Is this by default now?
What should I d to make the app start back?

You mean you quit it or just minimize it to the dock?

You can make it start back up by setting;

UIApplicationExitsOnSuspend = true
