apply stroke to an imported font

Is it possible to apply stroke to a font? i didn’t find anything and i can’t believe that a well developed kit like corona sdk doesn’t have this simply(i think) function. Could anyone help me to solve this problem?

Actually the function is too slow if you wish to generate many texts on scene (levels list for example)
