AppNext plugin breaks build starting at Corona 2540

I’ve been using the AppNext plugin for a few months now.

[“CoronaProvider.ads.appnext”] = { publisherId = “com.appnext” }

I found that starting in Corona daily build 2540 (2538 is fine), that during the build process for Android, the build fails complaining the getting the plugin failed on the server side.

Any ideas?

Hi @poon,

I believe that certain plugins were “removed” when we released the 64-bit build for iOS, and while that doesn’t directly impact Android, the rationale was that those plugins were not being maintained by the original author(s). So, if they were not already broken, there was a decent chance that there would there would be technical issues with them upcoming, and the authors were not be available or willing to update them. That being said, the plugins are still technically there and you can build with them via older builds, but unfortunately we had to take them down for newer builds because they were not being maintained.

Take care,

Brent

Hi guys - my understanding is that Appnext is currently working with Fuse Powered (our parent company) and will be available as part of Fuse when we roll it out very soon.
