Appodeal black screen issue

I’ve just come backed the Appodeal from Admob because I need option to “turn off smartbanner”. (https://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/70880-how-to-turn-off-admob-smart-banner/)

and one user complains review as soon as my APP updated that he is getting a black screen covering device when showing banner ads.

I didn’t change anything in this build. only admob -> appodeal.

Could you please comment on this?

Without reproducing the error while having a device tethered so you can look at the console log, all you can do is guess in the dark about what is happening.

What code changes did you actually make?  Perhaps posting your changed code would be helpful.

@decoder143, you cannot test Appodeal or any Ad plugin in the simulator. The SDK’s that they use only exist for mobile devices. You have to test ad plugins on device.  I recommend you explore live builds so you’re not constantly having to copy the build to the device.
