appodeal on iOS doesn't work, maybe due to iOS version mismatch

The version of iOS SDK (10.2) that’s installed on this computer does not match the target iOS version (10.3). You may encounter issues building or incompatibilities at runtime.

You should consider updating your version of Xcode or using xcode-select to enable a compatible version.

I have been getting errors with the appodeal plugin and I was wondering if this might be the problem?

I can still build to my device, but ads still do not show up. I have been talking to the appodeal customer support for two days with no progress. Any ideas?

btw I am not able to download Sierra or the latest versions of Xcode because my mac is too old by apple standards.

Hi Daniel. I hate to hear that.

Apple makes the rules and at some point they are going to require submissions be done with 10.3 or later. For now you can drop back to an older version that still has 10.2 as the target OS, but there will be a point where Apple will stop 10.2 builds from submitting.

Would you happen to know which version of corona supports 10.2? or is that not what meant by dropping back to an older version?

I’m pretty sure 2992 was iOS 10.2

Keep in mind that if you use an old Corona build (like 2992) you will also be getting an old version of the Appodeal plugin.

To guarantee to get the latest Appodeal plugin available, please use Corona build 3068 or later (a plugin with Appodeal SDK 2.0 is being tested and will be available soon.
