I have habit of putting ‘;’ at the end of my line.
The problem is every time I entered ‘;’, the auto complete will pop up and make me have to press ‘esc’ key to get rid of it.
Is there a way of making the auto complete window stop showing after I key in ‘;’ ?

Under tools – options, in the editor section will be a code completion tab.
There is an option to disable auto completion popups.
To get the auto complete use ctrl + space (I believe) [import]uid: 173551 topic_id: 32205 reply_id: 128228[/import]
I still want to use the auto complete, I don’t want to disable it totally,
I just want it not to show when I type ‘;’ . [import]uid: 31508 topic_id: 32205 reply_id: 128230[/import]

You can disable autopopup windows as pace said. See image below
You can then invoke autocomplete whenever you like using ctrl-space.
