Hi, I’ve been looking into local multiplayer options for corona and I’ve only really found autoLAN.
My question which I’ve been looking for an answer to is does this require the host to set up a wifi hotspot on their phone to be discoverable as I’ve read other systems require in order to allow the client to find the hosts IP address. Basically I’m wondering what kind of connection it works off and what that connection requires. The documentation they have is great and simple to follow for a beginner like me to follow and understand in terms of use and setting it up however I’m still stuck on this one question.
Otherwise I’m wondering if there are any other options for local multilayer on corona? as far as I’m aware there is no bluetooth support and other multiplayer options involve servers which I can’t afford or grasp at this point (any help with these would be appreciated if you can but not my main question).
