Dear fellow app developers,
I am currently building my first ebook for iPad. To reduce the size of my book, I plan to use .jpg pictures as my background images, rather than .png format.
Do Apple’s app examiners accept .jpg graphics?
Why do most game developers use .png format?
Please advise me (the first question is more important).
I have also been trying to autoscale my graphics. Unfortunately, I haven’t got any luck so far.
Thank you in advance for your kind advice.
Regards,
Henry

Hi Henry- Jpg is just fine to use
What problem are you having with autoscaling? [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 28443 reply_id: 114931[/import]
Hi Peach,
Glad to see you here again.
I have just realised that you run an online app template store.
Very excited.
I am very interested in your templates.
But I also found out that most of them were written with Director Class.
I am currently using Storyboard, I am not very sure whether or not your templates will be very helpful and useful to me.
My question is: Would it be difficult for me to convert them into Storyboard apps?
Please advise.
Thank you, Peach.
Henry

Hey Henry,
Nice to you here again as well
My templates could probably be converted fairly easily, although personally I still prefer Director to Storyboard. (Both are very good but I just like Director, I used it for a year before Storyboard came out so I am used to it.)
If you do want to buy any but you aren’t happy about the fact they aren’t done in Storyboard I’d be happy to generate a discount code for you - just email me techority[at]gmail

Thank you, Peach.
I will purchase templates from your site this coming Monday.
