Backups?

AS CPM allows files to be dragged into the project from different directories, does it have a backup Project function?

I know simply saving a copy of main.lua and other .lua files will cover you 90% but makes sense to be able to back up the whole project [import]uid: 3093 topic_id: 20255 reply_id: 320255[/import]

There’s not a backup in CPM at this time, but it is on the to-do list.

CPM doesn’t hold any of your code or other assets, just pointers to them. So as long as you do “normal” backups on your data you’re most of the way there, anyway. Recreating a CPM project would be very quick as long as you have the assets on your hard drive.

In future versions of CPM the project files will be holding much more info and by then I should have a backup system in place. Initially it will probably be an option to manually/automatically copy a zip of your project files to a specific location (HD, network, Dropbox, etc.)
