Just to update the topic about barcodes. is there any barcode reader out there that works with corona free or corona enterprise? i refrase my question, anyone here integrated a barcode reader with success with any version of corona?

I have not recently tried this, but I did use this once for an experiment:

(It is a good/cool start, but needed (at the time I tried it) some work to make it more flexible and faster)

I tried rb-reader last year, it was good reading QR codes, barcodes was usless.
Corona sdk with pic2shop was last resort solution because envolves another app installation.
plugin-qrscanner, didn’t knew it. i tried and worked fine in android and ios. still some bad scannes but most are correct. till now its the best solution i’ve saw for corona. thank you for sharing this info.
