Basic Android/Amazon question

Hi Guys,

I’m only set up for the iTunes Store. The question I have is does the Amazon store limit an app to X number of devices? I thought I read somewhere that Android apps were more vulnerable to people buying them and then re-selling them. If I upgrade my Ansca membership to include apps for the Kindle Fire, I’d like some assurances that my apps won’t be easily pirated.

TIA

Chances are if you have apps on the Apple App Store then they’ve been pirated already.

There is no difference with Android although Amazon do put their own DRM on the App if you want them to.

Pirating of software is a fact and isn’t going to go away unfortunately. [import]uid: 8697 topic_id: 17898 reply_id: 68360[/import]

So the DRM is an option? I can live with that. I want to discourage the “casual” pirate who may simply pass along an app to a friend. I understand that there is really no stopping a determined individual. [import]uid: 39859 topic_id: 17898 reply_id: 68442[/import]

Yes, when you submit to amazon its a check box.
