Hi! I’m interested in the question: is it possible to use the basic free version of the Corona SDK to create an application and later publish it to Google Play? What rights will I have for this application?
You have some outdated information.
Corona is completely free to develop and publish apps with. There are no fees or royalties to Corona. You will have control all the rights to your app.
If you were to go hardcore and work on your own version of Corona SDK (since it’s open source), then there’d be some licensing issues. All about that can be found here: https://coronalabs.com/faq-opensource/ (but I have a feeling this won’t matter to you at all). Just make sure you download the latest daily build in order to build 64-bit apps for Android.
