I hope this is the right forum for this question. So here goes. I know iOS devices are not “native” stereoscopic, but I have heard of some apps that do a fair job imitating stereoscopic 3D. Does anyone know the best method (e.g. top-bottom, side-by-side, red-blue, etc) to pull this off? The old red-blue method is pretty crude, but maybe it’s just the cheap cardboard red-blue glasses I have laying around. I’m using After Effects to try to pull this off.
As somewhat of an aside, does anyone know the most common method method feature films are using nowadays. I may go see the Hobbit in 3D as an excuse to take home a pair of 3D glasses if feature films use something other method than red-blue.
