Best Practice to Keep Camera Feed aspect ratio

Hi.

When you use a camera feed to fill a shape, the feed stays with the aspect ratio of the shape. Does anyone have a best practice on how to make the camera feed to have its keep the camera resolution aspect ratio?

Is there any function that returns me the camera resolution?

Or my only way would me to force the aspect ratio based on the camera resolution of each device?

I’m curious about the same. Were you able to find out more?

The camera from iOS devices have a default aspect ratio of 4:3 and that is the one that Corona is using. Since the camera fill does not support Android, you can simply use that aspect ratio for the shapes.

Thanks for the update. Yup that makes sense till we have Android support for camera fills… which reminds me… any news on that #Corona Labs?
