BigFish - Piranha Peril - available now for the insane price of FREE!

Hi everybody!

I’m quite proud to announce the first game that I’ve released using Corona -   BigFish - Piranha Peril.

You’ve played as the BigFish in the tank, now take a different swim as the Piranha swimming through the Amazon! Eat, dodge, collect and power-up through this adventure, fraught with peril and exciting boss battles!

The game features:

  • Hand-drawn, animated characters and backgrounds
  • Multiple environments to swim through
  • Random level generation, so it’s never the same game twice
  • Upgradable power-ups to swim further (and deadlier)
  • Realistic recreation of what it is like to be a piranha (I did very little research)

You can check out a teaser trailer here:

You can download it today for the insane low price of FREE here.  Available for all iOS platforms.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Thanks!

Are you publishing it together with Big Fish?

No.  BigFish was the name of my first game.  This is a sequel of sorts, hence the name.

You might want to think about renaming that as it could get pulled from google and itunes if big fish wants to be a turd as “Big Fish” is trademarked by Big Fish Games and they have been known to report people to google and apple and your app will be pulled with no way to contest (unless going through big fish games)…

Here is just 1 of the many trademarks they have.

I speak from experience on this one had a game pulled by google for the exact same thing and my game name wasn’t even close but google doesn’t get in the middle of trademark disputes they side with the registered trademark holder and make you guys figure it out then if you get permission or win in a legal dispute the company that holds the trademark has to contact google and say its ok for your app to be allowed back in.

Thanks for the advice.  I’ll have to consider that.  Thanks again!
