Black Screen Upon Start On Device And Xcode Simulator

Testing configuration:

iMac with OSX 10.8.3

Xcode 4.6.1

Corona 2013.1056

User name: ingemar at swipewareDotCom

Compile for iOS

Device: iPad mini (iOS 6.1.2)

Result: Displays splash screen (on first launch only), then black screen and hangs.

No console output from device.

(result same for any device)

Device: XCode simulator 6.1

Same as above

Note:

Works fine on device and Xcode simulator when switching off Build 2.0

iMac OSX 10.8.2

Xcode 4.6

Corona build 1056

Device iPhone 5, iOS 6.1

i built 5 apps for iOS using Build 2.0

2 of them were OK. they are very simple though (40-50 lines of code)
the 3 much more complex apps (1000+ lines) were built without errors, but, after the splash screen a black screen shows up and stays there for ever…

no errors appear on the Xcode console

all apps work OK without Build 2.0 (using again 1056)

In another thread Walter mentioned that they’ve identified the issue.

I’ve just recompiled with Build 2.0 and this issue seems to be fixed.

ingemar,
