Thank you, XeduR
Well, since this is a simple app game that would sell for $1 (or you would pay a dollar or so to remove the ads) I could not think of a way to do rewards based on the actual app.
I was thinking of doing tokens inside the app that I could sell, but I thought it was a bit “lame” as a reward and I was not sure how to deal with Apple about it. I mean, I was just considering adding to token number directly into the player’s database which I host at Amazon , so no need to deal with the Appstore … but still I figured it would be too simple a reward.
So, I decided the app would be a “freebie” tacked into other Kickstarter rewards.
The rewards I’m giving are the transforming plush toys which I’m making in limited amount for this campaign, just 25 of each model, adding a certificate of autheticity and numbering them, so that they are more of a collectible item. If the campaign were to be a success and I needed to do more then, then I’ll probably do a second set of toys which would no longer have certificate, etc, and they would be shipped months after the campaign ends, since they take time to manufacture.
If I get anyone that pays for a large rewards, I would allow them to suggest a secret level in the game, where they can setup the platforms, etc and also showcase their art.
I’ll also giving beta access, sending signed postcards from Peru (where I live) and drinking shots of Pisco in a live video as rewards ;)
I had to get creative (the drinking shots idea, I got from another Kickstarter campaign … it seemed fun).
Crossing fingers …
