I took the sdk for a spin this last week and enjoyed working with it. I am both a professional and indy game publisher. The key missing element for me at least is the ability to run within a browser plugin. Key to this feature I would need the ability to pass variable information to the plugin from html code. If someone at Corona was interested, there is a way to use Lua in Flash.
I worked on a project called lua-alchemy that ported the lua interpreter to Flash. Actually runs the lua C code in alchemy. Unfortunately Adobe has pretty much abandoned alchemy so I stopped working on it. Some have used lua-alchemy for games I think:
